Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday as both sides continue their push for the top four.

Spurs are seventh, while the Hammers are sixth courtesy of a slightly better goal difference.

Antonio Conte must be so frustrated with Spurs’ inconsistency

As it stands, both teams are six points behind Arsenal, who beat Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Hammers beat Spurs 1-0 at the London Stadium back in October, but they lost to Spurs in the Carabao Cup in December.

However, the last time they played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the league, they were 3-0 down after 81 minutes and drew 3-3.

The equaliser from Manuel Lanzini will live long in the memory and it was an absolute wonder goal with pretty much the last kick of the game.

If this match turns out to be anything like that one, we are in for a treat.

Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham: Team news

Conte has no fresh injury concerns to worry about but he will be without Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp.

In his pre-match press conference, the Italian confirmed that Tanganga would be out for the rest of the season, while he is hoping to have Skipp back after the international break.

Conte also confirmed that Sessegnon would be out for at least another four weeks before he can even start training again.

Therefore, you would expect to see Sergio Reguilon continue at left-wing-back.

West Ham will be without in-form winger Jarrod Bowen who was ruled out by Moyes before the Irons’ game against Sevilla on Thursday.

There were concerns over Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell but both started against Sevilla.

Andriy Yarmolenko made it two goals in two during that game and booked the Hammers’ place in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Given what is going on at the moment, this is an incredible show of strength and it will be intriguing to see if he will be involved from the start on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham: What has been said?

Antonio Conte said: “For sure, it’ll be a really tough game for both teams. We’re in the same position and we have the same target.

“It’s a derby and don’t forget that a derby is always difficult, but I think that my team, we are now in a good moment of form. We are improving a lot. We try to do everything to get three points.

“It would be very important to have a fantastic atmosphere around us in the stadium. Our fans, they have to play an important part in the game.

“Like all the other games they can help us by pushing us from the start until the end, to create a fantastic atmosphere around us. It’ll be very important for us.”
