AA Zaura was born in Dakata, Kano State, Nigeria, His parents originated from the town of Zaura Babba, Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State and Abdulsalam attended his primary and Junior Secondary School respectively in Zaura Babba.
AA Zaura also studied at the Government Technical College, Bagauda, Kano and graduated in 1994, before proceeding to the Kano State Polytechnic to study Mechanical Engineering.
It was while still in school that A.A Zaura developed interests in commodity and solid mineral business.
AA Zaura eventually ventured into a full-time business, focusing on exports and imports of cars, general commodities, solid minerals as well as oil and gas respectively.
AA Zaura got a Masters in Financial Management Services from the Robert Kennedy College under the Salford University of Manchester in 2016.
He is presently studying government and public administration in Baze University in Abuja.
A responsible and loving father, AA Zaura contested for the Kano State governorship position under the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN).
